The Xen IPK can give you access to over 200 features speciffically designed to address the diverse communication needs of the small to medium business market. In addition to the basic key and PBX system features, the following is a snapshot of some of the capabilities Xen IPK can deliver.

* Modular growth – you can increase the capacity and performance of your investment as you business needs dictate. When the time comes for increasing capacity you can easily do so with a simple upgrade.
* VoIP – Take advantage of toll bypass, common voice and data infrastructure, remote working putting employees closer to their customers and reducing office costs, inter-site mobile workers taking their phone number and feature with them between sites, cost effective deployment of centralised applications such as call centres with decentralised agents, and the list goes on. IP trunks with private networking, IP stations and IP softclients are included.
* Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) and Management Information System (MIS) – In a contact centre environment, ACD provides efficient distribution of incoming calls to your agents, maximising productivity and minimising customer wait times. You can monitor contact centre operation and efficiency using the detailed MIS facility. ACD Plus provides even greater functionality and flexibility in distributing calls to your agents.
* Calling line identification – By identifying priority callers, your business can ensure that you handle your most important communications appropriately every time.
* Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) – By integrating your phone with your computer and making use of NEC’s softphone applications, you can improve business efficiency and cut desk clutter.
* Integrated Digital Voicemail (Xen Mail and Xen Mail Lite) – Missed calls and uncollected messages become a thing of the past, enabling your business process to improve, and with it, your productivity and levels of customer service.
* Unified messaging – Unified messaging brings voicemail, fax or email together onto a single PC screen, meaning employees spend less time checking and responding to messages. In addition, travelling staff can access this information from any remote location that has an IP connection back to the office, so mobile workers stay in the loop
* ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) – The Xen IPK fully supports digital carrier services for improved call clarity and access to many enhanced communications functions, such as on-dial for direct calling to employees, calling number display for screening of calls, network-based call forwarding for more efficient use of trunks and malicious call trace.
* Least cost routing – You could save thousands of dollars on call charges each year as the Xen IPK automatically selects the best and cheapest carrier route available for your call, at any time of day.
* Mobility with wireless integrated DECT handsets – Take your telephony investments further. With integrated wireless DECT telephony by KIRK, you can get all the functionality of your Xen IPK system at your desk, on the shop floor, in the warehouse – wherever you need to be.
